Great Indian Idol
Two days before when I was watching TV in my home I came to see an interesting program. “Who is supposed to be the Indian Idol”. Lots of name came from the mouth of the viewers and also from the anchors. But not a single name of a scientist. I think that Indians are short memoried for the output that our scientists had given to us.
What about Homi Bhabha? In front of his contribution the “Celebs” of India are nowhere!!!! I don’t know how many of them remember the death anniversary of the great Indian Scientist Homi Jehangir Bhabha. Don’t worry its not today, its tomorrow. 24th January 1966. Well he is one among the great Indian Idol for me, forever forever….

You have a valid point here!
may be it was because of short memory… or might be we even not aware about the value of his contribution… or might be …we are not proud to be known as Indian!!!

I don’t understand why we are short memoried or not giving value to his contribution. In western countries when some scientist dies we could see their sentiments. But that thing doesn’t appear in India. I feel very ashamed. At least the new generation should change. A change from root is required!!!!
I feel very happy to see your comment in my blog. There is an important thing for me in this blog. I had comments from my two favorite teachers. One is you and the other one is Joju sir. I would like to thank you for spending your precious time to see my blog.
