Kurata and Cargos

This diwali I am with my room mates Pravi, Rajeev and Vijay. I got 2 days leave in the office. So Thursday Rajeev and I decided to clean the house. And we did it in a good manner. The house owner got shocked when he came in the evening to collect the house rent!!! Actually amma should be here to see how neat the kitchen and all the rooms were.

Now the  next day, Friday, I decided to call Amma and told her that I had decided to buy clothes for me. Normally I never ask her when I buy clothes for me (after getting a job. Not at all a “jada”). So I and Rajeev went to the FabIndia to look a kurta for Rajeev. Till I started my journey from home I thought I may buy 2 jeans and 3-4 T-shirts. But when I reached FabIndia I thought I would buy a Kurta too. For a long time I was dreaming a kurta. But this time I didn’t made the mistake I brought a good kurta for me. Since I am below weight for my height, I thought kurta might not fit me. When Rajeev gave the green signal to me I didn’t went for a second thought. Rajeev also brought a kurta.

Now It was time to buy jeans for me. Yeah!!! I brought a jeans and some how Rajeev told me why don’t you try Cargos. First I refused saying him that this fashion will make me look like a joker!!! But later I tried and I was ok with it. Felt little happy too. Now it was time for me to buy some T-shirts. I brought 3.

From this shopping I reminded the old discussion which I had with Justin few months back, where we reached a conclusion that men won’t like to waste the time in shopping. It happened because of evolution. During the earlier days men went for hunting. And they brought back the food home. Now it was woman who took her own time  to ‘select’ the best.

When I reached home vijay started teasing me… By that time justin also came to our house. Justin asked me,”Cargos okke ittittu engotta??? Nammude companyilekku thanne alle? Oru pennu polum athu kaanaan undaakilla!!!” I didn’t had the answer for that.

There will be a day for me when I would wear cargos and kurta, and girls looking at me.

By the way I had decided to grow my hair. I wanted to know how it would look like, once again!!!
